The Sigma Journal (ISSN 1980-0207) is an academic journal that reports on the dissemination of interdisciplinary research, responsible under the editorial responsibility of the Instituto de Ensino Superior do Amapá - IESAP. Its publication is biannual, encouraged the dissemination of original Articles / Papers and researched research linked to Undergraduate and Graduate courses, nationally and internationally. Sigma relies on the collaboration of researchers from different areas of knowledge, in order to publicize the value of research and the social return resulting from investment in science and in teaching-learning. The process of submitting articles to compose the journal involves careful consideration by the editorial board, and subsequent analysis conducted by the Ad hoc committee of reviewers.
É com satisfação que informamos que, de acordo com a avaliação do quadriênio 2021-2024, da CAPES, a Revista Científica Sigma, outrora sem indexação, passa agora a ser classificada com o Qualis B3. O trabalho é feito por muitas mãos e em muitas etapas.
