Desenvolver discussões teórico-prático-metodológicas sobre o processo ensino-aprendizagem, subsidiando a revisão e a renovação de mecanismos de diagnósticos e enfrentamento das questões e problemas educacionais regionais sob a perspectiva e contribuições da Psicopedagogia, assim como, propiciar a intervenção psicopedagógica clínica e institucional, crítica, reflexiva e interdisciplinar aos problemas de aprendizagem existentes, ante as novas demandas sociais, garantindo estratégias psicopedagógicas preventivas junto ao acompanhamento do processo ensino-aprendizagem desde o seu planejamento, execução e avaliação dos resultados.
